A personal note from 'family favourite' entertainer Billy Dainty

Why oh why doesn't ITV repeat this excellent 'warts an all' documentary about 'behind the scenes' of a major pantomine production. Most of the actors, including Arthur Askey, gave sterling performances (sometimes under difficult circumstances).

Although I have always felt that the late, great Terry Scott was too emersed in his role as Penfold in kiddies tv show Dangermouse to ever be taken seriously as a pantomime dame.

Yours, Billy Dainty XXXX
