Kora and the Battle of Many Turns In Rebel Moon 2, fans witnessed a roller-coaster of emotions and daring fight sequences. Sofia Boutella’s Kora, initially portrayed as calm and collected, transits into a fierce battle-mode as the stakes heighten. Anytime you get to create an arc is a joy, I think for an actor, at least for me. It was fun for me to not just play the badass character, but to have those colors to fall back onto, to come back from, to just evolve through. It’s a lot of fun. The Tragic End for Gunnar Michiel Huisman’s character

Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan Box Office Opening Higher Than His Last Eid Release (Photo Credit –YouTube)
Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan could not reap benefits from his opening number despite getting the first mover advantage at the box office in the epic clash with Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The sports drama collected 7.25 crore on day 1. This number also includes the paid previews of the film.
Helmed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film was released on Eid after much delay. It was expected that positive word of mouth would turn tables at the box office, but no miracle happened when it came to numbers.
However, Ajay Devgn has fared much more with Maidaan than his last Eid release at the box office, which interestingly was also a clash. Ajay’s last Eid release was in 2022, Runway 34, which clashed with Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2.

Myths, legends, religion and history are heavily utilized when creating the stories found in all genres of anime. Dozens upon dozens of myths and legends were used to build the characters and plot of Jujutsu Kaisen , for example, and this anime is far from the only example. First of all: this volume contains two things, which it does say pretty clearly: the title is The Second Fake Death of Eddie Campbell & The Fate of the Artist , after all. There’s one new book – Campbell dislikes the term “graphic novel,” so I’m going to see if I can consistently avoid it here – and one old book, with somewhat convergent concerns.
The old one is The Fate of the Artist, originally published in 2006, in which “Eddie Campbell” disappears, or maybe is replaced by the actor playing him in this comic. I’m shocked to realize that came out more than a decade and a half ago; time refuses to stand still until I can catch up with it.

There's a reason why "Yellowstone" feels as authentic as it does. For all the backstabbing, fistfights, and unchecked greed on display that make the show seem so outlandish at times, the countless scenes showing everyday life on a fully functioning Montana cattle ranch are meticulously researched and crafted. There is some true cowboying on display and all of the actors have had to endure an outdoor boot camp before the start of each season. One major factor that made Netflix’s Castlevania animated series click among audiences was the detailed world-building centered on gothic trappings that replicated the original game series’ scope and settings perfectly. Through four seasons, viewers got to familiarize themselves with the expansive world, explore a number of character arcs, and indulge in speculation, as the series opened such a vista of phantasmagoria that even after ending, it left numerous possible waypoints for further exploration.
The follow-up series titled Castlevania: Nocturne, which is streaming on Netflix, takes the lore into the late eighteenth century, during the late phases of the Age of Enlightenment. “Fast X” (Universal) opened quite well by most standards, with $67.5 million in the U.S./Canada and $319 million worldwide. The extraordinarily long-running franchise that began in 2001 has survived cast changes (including the death of Paul Walker) and even the loss of director Justin Lin, who said he walked away from “Fast X” in favor of his mental health.
However, everyone’s prices have gone up in the last two decades, to say nothing of inflation. “Fast X” cost more than $300 million, marketing costs not included, and therein lie the problem.
While “Fast X” met studio predictions, it’s not a terrific number. “F9” in 2021 did $70 million in its initial weekend, when theaters were still affected by Covid restrictions, audiences had not returned en masse, and tickets cost at least 10 percent less. Still, considering the age of the franchise, the U.S./Canada gross isn’t the greatest concern. Worldwide is where the worries lie.

Fast X is an incredibly dumb time at the movies. Not just in an F9 “they took a car to space” kind of dumb, but in a more fundamental Fate of the Furious “why did they name the baby Brian like he’s not still alive?” kind of way. There’s always room for big, dumb entertainment at the multiplex, especially the kind of pure, mind-numbing escapism at which this improbable billion-dollar franchise has excelled. Since the franchise apex of Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6 it’s hard not feeling the constant drag of diminishing returns. An ever-evolving cast of regulars starts to feel like too much baggage even for this family––especially when they don’t even stay dead or are treated as goners even though they’ve just “retired.” A great summer actioner can be big and dumb, but it can’t also be clunky. Thankfully,...

Only Murders in the Building‘s Season 3 premiere date is no longer a mystery.
It was announced on Tuesday afternoon, as part of Disney’s Upfront presentation, that the Emmy-nominated comedy will return with new episodes on Tuesday, Aug. 8. (If that date sounds familiar, that’s because Steve Martin and Martin Short let it slip during a recent stop on their comedy tour. However, Hulu would not confirm the date at the time.)

"Fast X" will bring the Toretto gang back together for yet another wild ride: Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Nathalie Emmanuel will reunite with Vin Diesel as their respective characters. Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior and Alan Ritchson are also tapping in as new additions. But there are quite a few returning players involved in the production as well, faces that "Fast" fans will likely recognize.
We've already learned that the film's Big Bad, Dante (Jason Momoa) is actually the son of "Fast Five" villain Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), and it seems that events and characters from other "Fast" films are fair game as well. According to director Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" represents a culmination of the saga. Everything from every "Fast" movie is pretty much on the table, so let's break down all the threads that will continue in the upcoming film.

Warning: contains spoilers for Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2.
Fate: The Winx Saga brought The Winx Club into the modern television era with its grounded, edgy live-action take on a magical fairy boarding school. Instead of the Magical Realm, Fate gave us Otherworld, a parallel Earth where magic and magical creatures exist. Fairies rule Otherworld, but they’re not alone within it. Burned Ones and Blood Witches are just two of the magical antagonists we’ve been introduced to.
Fate borrows a lot from the animation it is based on, but it approaches magic in a different way. Fairies are not cutesy, colorful sprites, but essentially regular people who manipulate elements and sprout wings if the situation calls for it. And Blood Witches appear to be entirely different from their animated counterparts. In The Winx Club, witches are a magical species that exist alongside fairies. They have their own school like Alfea,...

Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings" is a singular filmmaking achievement. Greenlit by the smallish New Line Cinema in 1999, the trilogy was initially budgeted at 180 million. But after a footage presentation at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival wowed audiences, the studio, realizing it had something special in the works, loosened the purse strings. The epic series ultimately cost 281 million, which is plenty steep, but it's a luxury you can afford when the movies go on to make 3 billion at the global box office.
And it all came so close to never happening.
Though J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy novels were a publishing phenomenon in the 20th century, their popularity had peaked in the 1960s and '70s. Typically, when an undertaking of this magnitude goes into production at a Hollywood studio, it's because there's been a resurgence. Instead, Jackson, who was smarting from the commercial failure of his first studio movie,...

"If he's so in love with her, what's he doing at at a wedding with you." American International Pictures has revealed an official trailer for a sweet romantic comedy called About Fate, by filmmaker Marius Vaysberg. Opening in theaters this September. "Sometimes fate makes you question everything you know about love." The romantic comedy is a tale of two people who believe in love, but seem to never be able to find its true meaning. In a wild twist of events, fate puts each in the other's path on a stormy New Year's Eve and comedy and chaos ensue. The film's cast features Emma Roberts and Thomas Mann as Margot and Griffin, with Britt Robertson, Madelaine Petsch, Wendie Malick, Cheryl Hines and Lewis Tan. This is actually a remake of a Russian film called The Irony of Fate (from 1975) but updated for US audiences. It's such an unoriginal, cliche concept...

BTS is no stranger to the webtoon, one of Korea’s most popular narrative formats. In 2014, web comic superhero counterparts of the group’s seven members fought monsters in We On: Be the Shield. In 2019, Naver Webtoon, the world’s most-read comics publisher, released Save Me, which saw a character based on Jin stuck in a time loop from which he can’t escape until he saves his six best friends. By its end, the 16-volume webtoon had massed more than 50 million views.
