A shaggy-dog story.

Next to last movie by prolific Jean Boyer ,a director whose career spans more than thirty years, from the beginning of the talkies to the New Wave. His field is the facile comedy , the perfect Saturday-night -at-the- movies flick .

Plot : A woman is taken back by the police to her cafe -restaurant which her husband has just sold ; not only she's amnesiac but she 's gone nuts : she demands to be served dominoes for her lunch; and the doctor does not know how to cure her.But actually ,she just pretends ,because she went to the notary 's office to get the restaurant's money and unfortunately she forgot it in a taxi. And she dreads his hubby finding out about this tragic loss.

This is moderately enjoyable but a bit repetitive stuff ; the actors,François Périer, Micheline Presles , Noel Roquevert , Jean Richard and Jean Lefèvre give this cock and bull story some substance .
