Make no mistake; Mary Millington is the star of this film. Along with her fantastic natural beauty (not to mention her passion for the job...) Mary Millington had such screen presence that she literally sets the screen alight in this fourteen minute stag film directed by John Lindsey. Maybe it's because it's a stag film that the scenes are broken up (The length of a stag film could be anywhere between ten second loops to twenty minute films) but in just fourteen short minutes we witness six climatic endings! To coin a rather 'tired' American term... Six "Money shots!!" So basically the film is of sex, sex and more sex crammed into it's short running time. It's exactly what Lindsey set out to achieve but I think maybe even he was stunned by Mary's amazing performance on screen. What stands out so much about her is that Miss Bohrloch was Mary Millington's first performance in a pornographic film... She truly shows why she eventually became a British sex superstar by the time of the release of her most famous and successful films, Come Play With Me (1977) and Playbirds (1978). The seventies porn industry in Britain was a movement and stands as a representation of the sexually liberated filmmakers and actors working throughout this decade. Now, more than ever, we must look back at this forgotten and neglected genre of British cinema, look back to remind ourselves of a time when sexual attitudes liberated not just British cinema but the British audiences who flocked to see these films... Too prove this, Come Play With Me still holds the longest ever theatrical booking in British cinema history. Doesn't the saying go "The customer is ALWAYS RIGHT!?"
