- There are some very intense flashbacks of a rape in a car, with a girl struggling and the boy yelling nasty words at her.
- The girl's father goes after the rapist and throws him face down a flight of stairs (I consider this scene to be enjoyable, though). The father also becomes very aggressive in general and gets into other fights.
- *Mild spoiler* The girl's brother later goes out to kill the boy who hurt her, and there's a prolonged scene where he beats the boy, leads him at gunpoint and sends him thrashing into a pond. He never does kill him, however *end spoiler*
