This terrific documentary covers about a year in the life of several girls from the Tuba City Arizona high school. Tuba City is small and it is all Indian. Their coach is also Indian. From this small school with a limited student body these girls routinely take the state championship in cross country running. Many are offered scholarships to Universities and Colleges based on their performance. Most live in poverty and some spend as much as 4 hours each day on a school bus. They are very shy and range in age from 14 to 18 years. Their story is one of determination and courage rarely seen these days.
