When I was approached by Eric and asked to tell my story on camera, and explained the nature of the project, I said yes right away. This is a story that needed to be told.
Most of us would rather not know that tonight more than a million kids in the US do not have a place to stay. They are forced into prostitution and almost as forcibly driven to drug abuse. A large number of these kids is in this situation for no reason other than that their parents cannot accept their sexual orientation.
This movie takes a look at the lives of some of these homeless gay youth and pretty successfully informs the audience not only of the problem, but also some of what is being done, and not being done, to combat this problem.
It approaches a very difficult subject compassionately and does a very good job explaining it truthfully and compassionately.
