The original mask used for Silo Killer was purchase for the director's uncle in 1985 for a Halloween party.
The entire first day of shooting which involve extras from the local police station for a road block scene had to be scrapped due to a large smudge in the lens discovered when watching dailies.
Over 100 friends and family watched the premiere of Silo Killer at Farelli's Supper Club in Scottsdale, Arizona on Halloween 2002. However, due to sound difficulties, producer/actor Brian Reid had to narrate most of the film to the audience.
Brian Reid's character, "Lyle", is homage to a character of the same name in The Wild Bunch played by Warren Oates.
