toon heads - cartoon show for all ages
budfairymemorial17 February 2006
Like a lot of us, I grew up on cartoons, with the Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes ranking firmly at the top. Cartoon Network brought us this show (now played on their spin-off network, Boomerang,) which has taught me a LOT about these cartoons, most of which I have seen hundreds of times. For those of us who wish there were still new Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies cartoons being created by the original artists, this is the next best thing. (I consider it to be head and shoulders above any of the actual new cartoons Warner Brothers has made featuring their all-star cast of characters.) While the cartoons are old, you may see some you haven't seen before; they do manage to play some of the 'toons that aren't politically correct, which one can't find on TV anymore, otherwise.

I loved this show when I was a kid it came on cartoon network around 9:30pm before or after the tex Avery show which was similar. This show was really great. It would pair up different cartoons from the different studios like MGM and warner brothers. It was great to see what themes the show would be. Before and after commercial breaks, a segment called "Toonheads Trivia" breaks out and will ask a question to the viewers about a cartoon.I miss this show dearly because it was the only show that showed very old cartoons that you couldn't see anymore and now we can't see because it's canceled. This show aired from 1997-2002 back when cartoon network had character and showed very good cartoons.
