I haven't seen many films shot on Dv that I've really liked, but this one totally made use of the technology. A very stylized interpretation of one woman's mental unravelling on her 30th birthday after she is released from a mental ward. Lyrical, beautiful, funny and sad. All her Goth friends are hysterical and colorful. Really really moving.

Totally unique kind of film. I bet it will become a cult classic.

I saw this film by accident (went with a friend of a friend to a screening) and absolutely loved it. It's a very complex film that challenges the medium and still manages to be funny. I think it can be enjoyed on a bunch of different levels. Whether you're a film geek or just a regular movie-goer, I highly recommend seeking out this little gem.
