Anthony Mackie and Sanaa Lathan have joiend the cast of Vipāka. Variety reports that the thriller is being directed by Philippe Caland and also stars Forest Whitaker. Filming began yesterday in New Orleans. Mackie and Whitaker play "enemies whose conflict occurs against the voodoo backdrop of the city." Caland wrote the screenplay to Boxing Helena, and is the director of the thematically-linked Hollywood Buddha, The Guru and the Gypsy and Ripple Effect. I am a huge fan of Mackie, so I am interested in seeing anything he stars in. What are your thoughts on this news?...
