Sex & Nudity

- Wesley flirts with a sadistic type of woman and leaves Vernon alone, he tells Vernon that he's "getting a little"
Violence & Gore

- there are 2 fights. both are moderately intense. the second one more than the first.
- the first fight occurs in the beginning where Wesley almost gets his guitar stolen at a bar, upon demanding to have it back he is almost struck with it, but it misses him, he then tackles and grabs the other larger person and throws him over the bar counter and he strikes his skull against a wooden table edge. the fight scene does not last long.
- the second fight scene occurs in the same bar when an autistic boy is taunted and provoked by bullies, he kicks one in the crotch, but is then punched by another. Wesley then appears and punches another person in the face before they can punch him. the fight is soon broken up.

- Ned is a strict Christian and so he does not tolerate bad language in his house.
- also whenever the band drives past the diet house for obese clients they will often shout "shake that ass"

- drinking in the bar scenes. Vernon's father smokes and is also an alcoholic.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Vernon has autism and has a meltdown anytime he is told to stop rocking. his meltdowns are very intense because he will scream loudly, stomp his feet and hit himself. his meltdowns will only stop when he is given tomatoes. one meltdown is avoided however.
- the second fight scene involving Vernon can be somewhat intense. he is then placed into an asylum afterwards until Wesley breaks him out.
