Typical HK comedy
ryanmo-3517822 August 2022
A old HK comedy. The plot is about a young man with no ambition. However as to chase the girl he likes, he needs to join the police force to become a good policeman. Some traditional funny scenes which only HK people would know. A happy ending and it's fun to see the building and scenes of HK 20 years ago.

Billy Madison meets Police Academy
buffylover198521 January 2004
This is a hilarious mix of Billy Madison and Police Academy as a spoiled son of a business tycoon has to enter the police force and prove himself to his father in order to gain his fortune. The jokes run fast and thick and features some movie send ups that both Hong Kong and Western audiences can enjoy from P.T.U to the Matrix. Anyone wanting a feel good movie should look to this!

Get a Real Taste of Hong Kong Humor
shipwreck53013 April 2007
Vincent Kok is known for ripping off western movies and making Cantonese versions (see Super Model; total Zoolander rip) which isn't the worst thing in the world actually. Dragon Loaded 2003 is kind of like Police Academy but it's got it's own style as well. You really can't expect too much from it, you just have to let go and watch. If your a local Hong Konger then you will definitely enjoy! If it doesn't serve as being funny it definitely serves it's helping of being cute. One thing in particular I really enjoyed was the music; there's some pretty funny rock ballad style songs going on in the montages! The cast is great, the dialog is pretty interesting, and the movie moves at a great pace. Check it out if you want a taste of Chinese fun! PS: Don't see the sequel.
