This movie can be compared to Italian Movies like Argento or Bava made back in the 60's and 70's. The score is quite similar as well with some long music parts that makes the movie quite allegoric. The plot is about a series of murders who have been committed by a so called "le monstre du jardin des plantes" and a group a individuals belonging to a club who tries to understand there inner animal, each of them having a particular physical resemblance to a fish, an eagle, a dog, a wolf, a mice and more... The investigation is led by a strange layer, resembling to an owl, how after the murder of a sculptor infiltrates the group to find the murderer... A must see movie if you likes strange atmosphere and photography. Quite splendid backgrounds and sets very Parisian.
