I am 54 years old. I am a father. I am a step father. I went by myself. I was very moved. I cried the tears of the child who bit his mother and hated frozen corn - what it represented. I cried as the father who divorced and left my two sons when they were very young. I cried that I was both Max and was the cause of Max's pain. But I was moved. I will forever be a fan of the book and of this movie - which are both different and the same. Amazing. Thanks to all that made it. Go see it. But like Max, go do this thing by yourself - just like Max would. I guess this silly site needs me to enter 10 lines of text, so I guess if I want to share my review with you, I must comply. To the designers of this site, I say I will eat you up and gnash your bones with my terrible teeth.
