A Disaster - a real shame for all french filmmakers !
BernhardtFrance7 November 2005
What a mess ! The picture is full of awful gay stereo-types, the jokes are not funny at all, the decoration looks like an amateur-theater scene, there's almost no script and there#s no logic at all etc. etc. The climax is Jacques Dutronc who obviously refuses to act ! Maybe he understood what's going on...

Attention: This "sequel" has NOTHING to do with PEDALE DOUCE which was quite a funny and intelligent movie.

How could these (normally) well-known and extremely popular actors (Darmon, Laroque, Dutronc etc.)accept such an offer ? They definitely never read the script. Did they just want to have some fun together while shooting the picture ? Did they sign under drug influence ? A desperate need of money ? Nobody will ever be able to explain it...

Avoid this movie ! Avoid this director in the future !

Incredible !

sad movie

an awful sequel, nothing really funny and not any more a sense for comedy to this director, flat encephalogram…first version of scenario was much better and nice vue to the characters psychology, but the final result is… sad… I didn't laugh, i didn't cry, i didn't react to this long suit of moments, good actors, nothing to play with… and it is difficult even to write 1à lines about it, but i can add words to this little comment just to warn you, and tell you: there are so many other good films, even from this director, he just went the dark side of cinema, and never get back from that land of despair and bad images. Ego is important to do that job, but too much egotism kills the project? it seems the answer is yes

surreal happening

I saw this movie in theater in the first week of its release, with about only three other patrons in a huge theater. One reason for this lack of interest from mainstream public could be related to the fact that this this movie CELEBRATES GAYNESS, quite literally and at length at times. Saying this, I cannot be sure that it was the only intention of the creators. If such kind of agenda is irrelevant to you, it could be quite interesting as an absurdist happening kindathing. There is a great scene with a "turk" pianist. Transplanting the female lead from "Pedale Douce" is another ioneskian bit, this is not a sequel by any stretch of imagination. So, if you have some spare time on your hands it is not so bad to spend it on this piece, however such things are usually only good for fresh "shock and awe" showing, I doubt I would enjoy watching it again.
