Stormy Night follows a young girl's thought-explorations as she sits out a storm, in her room with her dog.
She asks the kind of questions that used to keep us up at night when we were kids: "Who am I? What's infinity? What's eternity? Do aliens exist? :) " and the artist follows each of these streams-of-consciousness through with gentle, witty and abstract visualisations.
The voice acting on the English language version I saw is very natural, and the whole piece is accompanied by a beautiful, dreamlike soundtrack.
Thinking back on the film from the night before is like remembering a nice dream - slightly intangible in the fine details, but fresh, vivid and full of wonder.
