Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest has filled the void left by the demise of E3. The event is marked on many calendars, as the fourth installment is slated for Friday, June 7. We can be sure of seeing a combination of footage for upcoming games and new reveals.
The latter is always exciting, with people making many predictions of what they hope to see announced at the event. These predictions are usually for existing franchises and titles, but it’s the completely fresh games that always spark the greatest conversations. Nightdive Studios may be gunning for that goal with their latest teaser.
Nightdive Studios is Bringing Some ‘Thing’ Interesting to Summer Game Fest A horror classic is coming from the Antarctic to Summer Game Fest.

While The Kardashians fans always welcome a photo of Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian’s baby, Rocky Thirteen Barker, a recent one came with concerns. When Alabama Barker posted a photo, fans picked up on an alarming detail leading them to believe she would “knife” him.
Alabama Barker Welcomes The Kardashian Connection
Undeniably, Alabama Barker has a close relationship with her dad, Travis Barker. Seemingly, she is welcoming her new family members, The Kardashians star, Kourtney Kardashian, and her kids whom she shares with Scott Disick. But she may have a little issue cuddling her newest sibling. Although Rocky Thirteen Barker joined the Kardashian-Barker family in November 2023, fans have only gotten short glimpses of his back, hand, foot, etc. So when Alabama posted a picture, it was delightfully welcome, until fans hone in on a disturbing detail that makes them think she might “knife” the sweet baby.

2023 was one hell of a year for games. The sky was the limit when it came to diverse releases. It was also a year of innovation. Whether it be revisiting a classic and updating it for modern audiences, fixing broken promises with grand reworkings, or delivering unique experiences.
This year is honestly one I’ll never forget and I was honored to bring you constant reviews of the latest releases. The time has come now to recognize the ones that stood out most to me; the best of the best. The cream of the crop. These are the top 10 best games of the year.
10) RoboCop: Rogue City
Robocop: Rogue City is by no means a perfect game. A lot of the mechanics are shallow. The gameplay gets repetitive. The small open hubs aren’t too explorable. Some of the writing is shoddy. So why is it on this list? Well,...

Meryam Joobeur’s “Motherhood,” Mo Harawe’s “The Village Next to Paradise” and Mia Bendrimia’s “The Magma” claimed a trio of post-production prizes at this year’s Atlas Workshops, which ran from Nov. 27 – 30 as part of the Marrakech Film Festival.
Winner of the top award, “Motherhood” walked away with a €30,000 post-production grant. Produced by Sarra Ben Hassan, the film builds on themes director Joobeur explored in her Oscar-nominated 2018 short “Brotherhood,” once again tracking family tensions when a young Isis combatant returns to his Tunisian home. With her feature debut, Joobeur will now explore the story through a lens of maternal guilt, incorporating touches of magical realism and psychological horror for good measure.
Set for delivery early next year, the film is touted for a splashy festival launch.

Tunisian Youssef Chebbi’s “Plague,” Moroccan Adnane Baraka’s “We Don’t Forget” and Meryam Joobeur’s “Motherhood” feature among buzz titles at this year’s Marrakech Festival Atlas Workshops, which will have Martin Scorsese as their official patron.
Consolidated as a key platform for Moroccan, Arab and African projects and pix in production made by a new generation of filmmakers and created by Marrakech Festival artistic director Remi Bonhomme, the Atlas Workshops unspool Nov. 27-30. They take place alongside the 20th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival, which runs from Nov. 24-Dec. 2.
In a definite potential highlight of the Atlas Workshops, Meryjam Joubeur, whose “Brotherhood” was Oscar nominated for best live action short, will present 10 minutes of “Motherhood,” one of the awaited feature debuts of 2023. It is sure to spark major festival interest.

Roughly halfway through 2023, it feels safe to say that this has already been one of the best years in gaming history. While that statement accounts for a few of the things happening in the industry right now (such as finally being able to find a next-gen console) it of course speaks to the quality and quantity of incredible gaming experience we’ve been treated to so far.
In fact, it’s difficult to imagine that most people have found the time to even try to play half of the greatest games that have been released in 2023 so far. Look beyond the few blockbusters that have dominated conversations this year, though, and you’ll find an incredible collection of smaller titles that showcase the diversity of the industry and how there really is a masterpiece for everyone in the modern gaming landscape.
So while we will be updating this list throughout the year,...

As a longtime fan of all things unnerving, unsettling, and flat-out horrific, I am rarely completely overwhelmed with stomach-churning repulsion or absolute terror. I’ve played through the Amnesia series without battling more than a few eyelashes, and Outlast 2 didn’t have much of an effect on me (though I will admit to getting pretty freaked out by the first installment). I’m not saying that because I feel the need to prove my masculinity on some outlandish level, but I want to impart just how much the Attack on Titan series freaks me right the hell out. Words cannot accurately describe how those oversized behemoths truly unnerve me, to the point that I’ve dreamt about being chased by those grinning, naked, sexless freaks on more than on terrifying occasion. I even like the admittedly misguided live-action movies. No joke.
And while the series definitely gives me a serious case of the shivers,...
