It is Asterix-related media, but it is not an Asterix story.

A french kid has to do homework about gauls, so he is having a trip about two roman soldiers hooking up with girls. The story of the soldiers is a variety series of sketches. And it can already be a story in itself, but from time to time the kid appears in the background. Sometimes it is getting out of hand and there are two of them. And sometimes he starts talking to animated Asterix and Obelix.

For a TV film a lot of effort was put into the costumes.

Deux Romains en Gaule (English: "Two Romans in Gaul") is an 59-minute animated/live-action TV special directed by Pierre Tchernia in 1967.
