Anecdotes:
In an attempt to keep the struggling show on the air after its third season, creator Rob Thomas filmed an extended pitch for the fourth season that advances the show's timeline considerably. Instead of being a college undergraduate, as she was at the end of season three, in the spec season four, Veronica has graduated from college and the FBI Academy and is starting her first day as a FBI agent. The pitch contained a whole new cast of heretofore unseen characters, and, except for Veronica herself, none of the characters from the show's previous seasons. The CW failed to pick up this new version of "Veronica Mars," and the show was canceled. suiteGoofs:
Continuity: In early season 1, it is shown Veronica can understand Spanish, while later in Season 3 she cannot. It seemingly changes to suit the storyline. suiteGuillemet:
Veronica: If there's a justification for my actions right now, it's this: I have gone completely mad. suiteSoundtrack:

When I first heard of this show being a great teen series, I tried to watch it, but after watching so many episodes it was really a huge letdown. First let me say I have nothing against Kristen Bell and hope she does well on her other line of work in the future but the thing is this show is very boring. All of her investigation is very lame such as finding a hooker for someone and searching for other people which ends up dull at the end, and for some strange reason she would investigate something that is so dangerous that it could lead her to be killed or raped. After all that she would learn from this and lead a normal life instead of doing a stupid job and its always the same thing. The other problem is that all the characters are huge jerks that I really don't care for them when they get killed, beaten, or when other bad things happens to them because they're very annoying and I really hate them which is bad because usually you are suppose to like certain characters in a program but here I just don't care about all of them at all. Lastly, Veronica is suppose to be a outsider person who always explains how she hates to be popular, wants to be intelligent, and be clean and yet in the same time she dates a bunch of boys and sleeps with all of them every time which I lose respect for her as a character, she does a lot of stupid things that can get her in serious trouble and yet never learns, and she parties and hangs out with people making her two faced or something. Overall Im very disappointed in this show because of dull stories, bad characters, and Veronica Mars as being a person who isn't sure who she is. Anyone who wants a show to take itself so seriously, this is not the program for you.
