almost 4 years after the events of 911, if asked what comes to mind about that day, most people would probably comment on things such as the sight of planes crashing into and the collapse of the twin towers, the scores of people being killed, acts of terrorism and heroism mixed together, etc. everyone who was alive at the time will never forget that day. yet for most of us the memories, although moving, are not on a personal level. now comes an extraordinary film which gives everyone who did not lose a friend or a family member a chance to become involved at a personal level in just what we lost on 911. this is a film that needs to be seen.

Excellent Film About True Friendship!!

I was one of the lucky people to be invited to view this film in New York. It is a compelling story of how a group of extremely tight friends dealt with the tragedy of September 11th. This film made me laugh and cry and showed me how the human spirit, through love and friendship can endure and create wonderful things out of one of our darkest days. The film makers truly captured the emotions of the individuals involved. It was amazing to see how the same story was told through the eyes of so many different people. I walked out of the theater that day wanting to call all my friends just to say hello. I would recommend everyone see this documentary. I would rate this movie with an A++++++++++. See it if you get a chance.

A touching documentary that puts a human face on the tragedy of 9/11 by showing how one small community coalesced to honor two high school friends lost on that day. The film interweaves the lives of Chris and Tom through interviews with family and friends and snippets of old photos. Through their reminiscences we glimpse two lives tragically cut short. The film also documents how, through a series of coincidences, an inspirational memorial garden was brought forth through the efforts of many people, both known and unknown to the two victims. Through the laughter and the tears(and the sweat) we see the power of hope and honor and love. This films evokes many different emotions, but the final feeling is one of admiration of the human spirit undaunted by tragedy.

WOW, what a powerful and compelling piece of film. I was a graduate of the same 1983 class - Half Hollow Hills High School East in Dix Hills (Long Island) New York. Although we hung in different circles, one could not finish watching this film without feeling a love not only for our country, but for the great bond of friendship that has endured over twenty (20) years. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed the way Mr. Soderling directed the sculpture process from twisted metal (caused by the terrorists) to a work of art designed by machinists in California. Then watching this sculpture travel the United States back to New York just took your heart away. Tom and Chris are smiling from above! Great film - Go see it!!

This movie is painful mainly because I went against my better judgement and watched this it..it is not a disappointment because one can't really expect any quality output from the said banner. This movie is a reminder to always follow your gut. Bobby Deol tried hard to act, but one's standard for him is so low that his acting might be one of the best of his "career". Supporting actors failed to support. Dialogues are the same old cheesy corny crap. Overall, except the filter used in the movie, no one seemed to be doing their jobs.

Needed some depth in scenes and characters. 90 minute film wrapped up so quick and it hasn't lasted enough. Happy to see Bobby back. The story has been usual and nothing much. A aged police officer who is haunted by death of his loved ones, takes revenge on gangster after ages. Just that he is aged and superior officer, he uses some young blood.
Why is every revenge story going in same way? And why can't anyone think apart from it. Only best thing of the film is creative recreation of 1980s visuals. Corrupted police and politician games are too boring and usual stuff. Would have rather enjoyed uninterrupted, non deviating dedication of police vs constant return answers from Gangsters.

I'm a graduate of Half Hollow Hills High School East class of 83. I've seen the movie and help create it with other great friends of Tom and Chris as well as some complete strangers who we now call great friends. We all share a similar feeling . The movie's not about war, money,bombs, planes or buildings it's about values of friendship. Tom Collin's and I went to junior HighSchool, High School and College together. I think if someone told me when I was in 7th grade homeroom or senior year at Ithaca College that this guy is not going to live past 35 and die from a horrific tragedy! I would have said not him he is "life". The slogan you here everyday is that "Ive known this person my whole life" who knew it would end at 35. Kids today need to realize that the guy or girl next to them may not be there for the rest of there life so "value It"

Average film. Storyline is weak. All new actors were good but screenplay is very slow.Action is also very less. Background score is good. Overall one time watch film and Deol's acting is appreciable. My rating is ⭐⭐/5
