Sex & Nudity

  • There are a few topless women, one of whose breasts you can see clearly for a few seconds. Several post-coital scenes, one scene of lovemaking without a clear view of body parts usually covered by bikinis. Some scenes in which clothed women are viewed as by teenage boys.

Violence & Gore

  • Several scenes in which policemen beat protesters with billy clubs, Kent State shootings seen on a television, a gun fired several times without anyone being hit, one person shot in the chest with minimum gore.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Quite a bit of smoking, none of it tobacco. One scene where sugar cubes are handed out, another with candy that is drugged - the protagonist debates taking it, hoping for mescaline and fearing LSD - after he takes it, he is told that it was, indeed, acid.
  • Casual drinking, including a scene in which one person fills two shotglasses from a flask.
