  • Lady Zee was selected among the 40 films competing for the European Film Awards 2006, given by the European Film Academy.

  • Aneliya Garbova is not a professional actress. She lived at the home for children deprived of parental care in Plovdiv. Most of the remaining parts are also played by non-professional actors - children from such homes. Pavel Paskalev was cast in the part of Lechko. He comes from the home in Belogradchik. Vanina Chervenkova from the home in Bratsigovo and little Isus Borislavov from the home in the village of Gutsal, were cast for the parts of Young Zlatina and Young Lechko respectively.
