If you have the choice of viewing one movie tonight...

OK, I viewed this movie 3 times 2 months ago, so I won't be summarizing it. I just want to simply point out that this is NOT zoolander, even though conceited/egotistical male models is the main plot line.

This movie is _VERY_ smart. After the first 10 minutes and you see the person rendering Jurassic Park, and hear the super models cursing at each other in English you will probably enjoy it.

Oh yeah, and preparing to eat the dog scene is the funniest scene I have ever seen.

a definite 10, I can't believe people are giving this a 1-6, it just doesn't make sense. If you are entertained by regular TV programming than this movie ain't for you.

So. There is this one local station that plays various Hong Kong or Chinese films every week (this is where I first saw 'Super Model'). Some flop. Others leave me wanting more.

This film is among the latter by far -- even with the atrociously bad grammar and syntax of the subtitling (which may or may not have been provided by the channel). Actually, in some ways that's what made it even more entertaining; however, I will still recommend it one way or the other.

Because of the random nature of what is played on the channel I haven't really built up enough of a repertoire of Hong Kong comedies to really accurately name a similar film, but I do recommend "Afraid of Nothing: The Jobless King" (English Title; 1999) for having an apparently very similar sense of humour.

Zoolander, Asian Zoolander

This is pretty much Zoolander in Cantonese. But still hilarious, very hilarious. The parts where Mandom was being stabbed and threatening to be stabbed, great. The whole movie, however rehashed, is still worth a trip to your local Chinatowns video store. The movie has one good song, one excellent song is what it is. See this however you may, Super Model is a good movie.

My friends originally bought the VHS copy and it was so good that I . . .

decided to go for the DVD on a trip which also involved my getting a 1

dollar 2 liter bottle of orange soda. Watch the movie. Enjoy.

And, last but by no stretch of the imagination least, ridicule me for being inefficient.
