Only one bit of wit
deickemeyer20 December 2018
There is only one bit of wit in this slight offering by Richard Neill and put on by Charles Seay. The fight of the two fake statues (the janitor and the valet) as finished product, posed by the impecunious sculptor to get $10,000 from his aunt, made a laugh. It is broad and there is very little to it. - The Moving Picture World, August 8, 1914
