Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Link is seen shirtless when he wrestles with the Mayor of Ordon Village. He is shown to have pecs, abs and broad shoulders.

Violence & Gore

  • When link has nightmares he screams like he's screaming in pain and when there is another link and they look horrible this is about three minutes to end.
  • There is a cutscene where the main villain, Ganondorf, is executed via stabbed through the chest with a giant broadsword.
  • A castle guard in Hyrule Castle gets choked by one of Zant's monsters during a cutscene.
  • At the end of the game, Link battles Ganondorf's beast/hog form Ganon. Like Ganon/Ganondorf, almost all bosses in this game are defeated with an impaling strike of the Master Sword. Ganondorf is defeated with a rather graphic strike through the chest. This's undoubtedly the darkest and most violent Zelda game yet.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A Scene in which Link is in Lake Hylia, after completing the third and final Twilight, he is greated by the god of lake hylia, who tells him about the sacred relm, he then experiences a vision within this cutscene which is very odd and could cause younger players to either be frightened, or possibly have nightmares.
