The interview with Stephen Frears was filmed on the set of his 2000 film LIAM, in an old church in Liverpool. The interview took place during the middle of filming and the 400 Blows' director and cameraman had to wait quietly on set for Frears to finish his last shot of the morning before doing the interview. It wasn't until after the interview that the 400 Blows' director realized his mobile phone had been switched on full volume all the time - even while Frears was shooting his last scene before lunch! Could have been embarrassing!.
