The mayor gets a stapler stuck to his head. Twice. Kangaroo field goal kicks one of the students through the air. The mayor hears the sound of drilling and a man screaming at the dentist's office. Morton pulles Horton's eyelids an his eyes bug out for a moment.

Scenes with a big scary vulture talking about destroying the clover (that people apparently live on) and chase scenes involving him. The people on the clover are in peril several times, including when an angry mob shove Horton into a cage and a character tries to drop them into a boiling pot. Horton almost falls over a bridge but is OK.

Horton is attacked by bananas while trying to save the speck. Horton struggles across a rope bridge - but makes it. Vlad the Vulture chases Horton, then a tree hits Vlad and sends him flying into a rock wall. Kangaroo leads an angry mob toward Horton to get the clover/speck It gets a little intense when they angry mob ropes and cages Horton.
