This might actually be inaccurate insofar that the contestant had a successful pop career in the first place . So far we've seen Dr And The Medics ( 2 hit singles ) , Bacarra ( 2 hit singles ) , Tiffany ( 1 hit single ) , Haddaway ( 2 hit singles ) all compete . Having a couple of hit singles doesn't really qualify anyone as a rock god in my opinion . I should also apologise for using the word " hopefully " in my opening paragraph because that might lead someone reading this to believe that anyone is interested in these here today gone today non entities making a chart comeback
