I saw this film at a festival and was truly impressed by it's beautiful performance, both by the little girl and Jennifer Jason-Leigh. A short film that understands it's format, i.e. tells a story with so much attention to detail, but doesn't overload it. The story leaves you with food for thought and a touched heart. Also, I enjoyed the unusual choice of location and was glad to see not yet another kitchen sink drama. The inner turmoil was shown in a subtle way and left room to your own interpretation. It is so hard to come by great short films and I was glad to accidentally see this one. Also, visually speaking I was happy to see good cinematography that suited the story.
