Disturbing
The_Lightning_Stalker17 October 2005
You really need to make sure you're mentally stable before watching this. Tom Green is playing with us all. Okay, the fact that light is "coming out of his ear" isn't really disturbing. After all, we know it's not really coming from his ear. (it's OBVIOUSLY an overhead light) But the fact that we know this and that it's so obvious and yet he just keeps going pushes it even more. It gives you that pithy feeling way down in your stomach like you get from a roller coaster. He us violating us! He is probing our deepest recesses and enjoying every second of it. Can you handle it? I gave it an 8 out of 10 because in one part he starts grinning after going out of his "trance". Plus I hesitate giving it a full 10 because it's sorta childish that he's messing with us in this way, but hey, he's Tom Green after all.

Children Across the globe will want light to come out of their ears after seeing this film
TheFrooze19 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
The concept of light coming out of ones ear is quite new to us. Leave it to film auteur, Tom Green to take hold of such a concept and commit it to film. He tackles the trials of the everyday man, while penetrating his own mind and sharing deep thoughts with us, the audience. Besides its entertainment value, this film also provides an educational experience as well. You will leave the theater both astounded by the visuals, and also with new questions about the world around you. Not many times in my life have I seen a film that has truly moved me, but take my word when I say this is one of those very rare works of cinema that takes you to places you'd never think imaginable. An excellent portrayal of a very touchy subject. Highly recommended.
