There was very mild nudity involving Giselle. The scene featured her getting out of the shower, and her birds wrapping a towel around her. However, nothing can be seen. Not even cleavage.

Angry when she thinks her boyfriend is sleeping with another girl, Nancy refers to the situation as him having "grown-up girl bonding time" with her.

Giselle's cleavage can be seen in different scenes, specifically when she's wearing the green and white dress, and again when she attends the ball in a purple dress.

Morgan tells Giselle that boys are after only one thing, and when Giselle asks what that is, the little girls responds that she doesn't know, because nobody will tell her.

There are references to kissing. There's also a scene where Robert is trying to explain to Giselle that Nancy thinks the two of them had sex, although that word is not used.

A squirrel jumps into Nathaniel's pants, and when Nathaniel says "Tomorrow is beef jerky day," the squirrel moves around in his pants, right where his privates would be. This is very suggestive and might be picked up on by some older kids.

Giselle accidentally falls on top of Robert while wearing only a robe, and she giggles, although her intentions are not sexual. Still, when Robert's girlfriend walks in, she is led to believe that they were in the shower together, specifically when Giselle says "The shower is wonderful, Nancy!"

Giselle feels Robert's chest and gets close to him while he is wearing only a robe, although nothing happens beyond that.

Some mild violence is present towards the end of the film, including a scene where a dragon's tail is cut and some blood is seen.

James Marsden's character thrashes his sword around and occasionally stabs inanimate objects (a bus) or threatens people gallantly in his quest for Giselle. It is intended to be comical and innocent, but it may frighten some children.

Nathaniel threatens to harm a chipmunk (to cut his throat, to hit him with a broom, etc.) There's even a scene where he hangs the squirrel on a clothing hanger and shuts the closet door while the squirrel looks very upset. In another part of the movie, Nathaniel attempts to fling the squirrel into a restaurant pizza oven.

An animated troll threatens to eat animated Giselle and chases her up a tree (which she falls out of).

The witch pushes Giselle down a well. When Giselle emerges in Times Square in the middle of the street, she runs through traffic. A couple of cars nearly hit her and instead hit each other.

Narissa tells Nathaniel she wants to kill Giselle. Nathaniel makes repeated attempts to poison Giselle with apple products.

A poisoned apple burns through a cyclist's helmet. There is sizzling, but no flame.

Prince Edward is run over by several bicyclists in one scene, although nobody is injured.

The queen goes from being an old hag to a dangerous dragon, similar to the one in "Sleeping Beauty." As a dragon, she attempts to kill Robert and Giselle. They are outside in the vicious rain/thunderstorm as they climb a skyscraper and try to escape. There are a few moments where they come very close to falling and dying. The whole tone is intense and will keep kids on the edge of their seats.

The dragon falls, in flames, off of a skyscraper to its death at the end of the movie. When it reaches the bottom, its remains are glimmering along the street, and you can hear sirens.

Nathaniel offers Giselle a (poisoned) apple martini. Robert calls it poison, referring to a martini's potency.

Nathaniel slurs and sobs into a martini for having failed Narissa. Her image appears to him in the drink and yells at him.

Queen Narissa is a very evil character that could frighten younger children, especially in a scene where she transforms herself into a dragon.

Pip is inside a pizza as Nathaniel throws the pizza into a brick pizza oven. Pip flies out of the pizza unharmed, but everyone in the background supposes he is dead, and they even cheer.

The huge dragon grabs Robert, crashes through the windows, and climbs the skyscraper roof. Giselle runs out to the roof in the storm and tries to defend Robert. The dragon eventually falls off the roof in flames. Robert dangles from the roof of the building and he and Giselle nearly fall off.

A huge animated troll breaks into Giselle's tree house and threatens to eat her, chasing her up a tree.

The troll may be frightening to some younger children.

When the queen transforms into an old hag, her physical appearance can be very frightening to adults, let alone children. She has a lot of warts and is genuinely scary as she tries to hurt Giselle. Then, when she poisons Giselle with the apple, she carries her lifeless body into an elevator and drops her on the elevator floor while she raises her arms and uses her magic to make the doors close.
