Finding meaning in these "new labour" times
Atavisten4 July 2005
The validity of the term democracy is asked. Western governments cling to the term and defend it, but how much is really up to the people and not to the money power? What does individuality thinking in place of collectivity mean? What is meaning? A director asks these questions and consults a famous Norwegian social anthropologist to help him find answers. While doing a interview he instead catch interest in a girl who finds purpose in paper folding - origami.

Its an ambitious movie and doesn't quite get where it wants to, of course that was to be expected both of us and the producers. Still it gets a kind of meaning across. Its absolutely worth seeing and the filmmakers will come up with something real good in the future.
