A worthy sequel

To be honest, after seeing the first movie 'Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle' and being pleased with it i didn't think they will meet my expectations on this sequel...and i was quite wrong because this movie is a totally worthy sequel. I thought like, 'Guantanamo Bay', okay a prison, what will this be, a parody on 'Prison Break' or something like that? Well it's nothing like that, i don't want to make any spoilers but let's just stay that there is only like one scene in prison and everything else is basically like it was in the first H & K movie, cross-country trips, this time it's more like a 'Road Trip' than the first one was where they were just looking for a burger joint. It's cheesier sure, because unlike the first H & K, 'Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay' reaches that well-known spot in plot of romantic-teen-comedies, you know the good ol' my ex-girlfriend is getting married now i realized i love her so much we need to travel through 10 states to stop this wedding! Sounds very familiar? It should because i think i saw like dozen of movies with that kind of script. Neil Patrick Harris appears again and this time his appearance is much more significant and even funnier than in the first movie. John Cho and Kal Penn look almost the same as they did 4 years ago when the first movie was made, which was somewhat important because the events in this movie don't happen 4 years after the events in first, this movie practically picks off where the original film ended, something that has been the case with the whole 'Back to the Future' trilogy. If i had to answer the question which movie is better than i'd have to say the first one, although there is very very little to separate these two movies, in quality of humor, acting and entertainment that is, because the plot is obviously very different. Even though i think that the first H & K is slightly better, i still think that this movie is made for bigger masses than the first one and by saying that i recommend it to absolutely everyone.
