This photoplay was written by W.E. Wing and M. McGregor was the director. While it smacks of the newlyweds, it is rather original in conception and well done. It is baby's birthday and the parents buying ridiculous presents furnish the comedy, also their extravagant affection for the child is amusing. It is a clean, logical little comedy and worthy of a place on any program. The acting of Thomas Santschi, Harriet Notter, and Lyllian Brown Leighton is very natural. - The Moving Picture World, March 14, 1914
