- Falcon Beach is a town in cottage country by a lake in Canadian province Manitoba, where aquatic sports are part of the pleasure package which attracts many visitors during the sunny tourist season. Local adolescent blond god Jason Tanner, who runs the barely break-even marina with his widowed ma, and his best friend Danny, whose family owns an old-fashioned arcade, are content with their simple life, but everything starts changing when the Bradshaw family returns to a cabin it owns there, as dad Trevor, a New York corporate tycoon, hatches plans to 'develop' the paradise profitably, never mind environment or locals. His daughter Paige, a Harvard brain, will date every attractive male in the story and cause them mixed emotions, while her brother Lane sways even more between dad's ruthless enterprise and his own drug addiction and dealings with murky Mook, fighting each-other and the police. Danny's relationship with local life-guard and hip hop-coach Erin also has extreme heights and lows.—KGF Vissers
- Every summer, the sleepy Manitoba town of Falcon Beach ignites. When the townies and the rich kids who summer at Falcon Beach collide, the sparks fly. The rest of the year, they live in different worlds, but come summer they share a strip of beach where anything can happen. People fall in love, fall out of love, get into trouble and take risks they never thought they would. For a group of friends and the outsiders they meet, this summer is about holding onto the sun and fun as long as they can... because the future is right around the corner and it's hard to know what you want or what you should do. For now, they're making the most of every minute while it lasts. There are no right answers, just the endless possibilities of summer. What does that mean for the dreamers and the schemers, the lovers and doubters, the people tied to the past and the ones trying to break free from it? That's the thing about Falcon Beach. Anything is possible. But somebody's bound to get burned.—CartmanKun@aol.com
