Madame Fanny and Monsieur Leclerc are arrested for crashing through a German blockade on a motorbike. General Leopold von Flockenstuffen takes control of the region, as Von Klinkerhoffen is out of sorts.
There was a big delay from the last episode, due to Gordon Kaye's accident, he's quite wonderful, as are the main regulars, but I think this may be the beginning of the show's decline.
There's nothing new here, it all feels a bit repetitive and a little rusty. I did chuckle at the opening seeing Madame Fanny and Monsieur Leclerc in their wedding gear, but the laughs were few and far between.
Too many changes, I didn't love the character of Bertorelli, but he had some moments, I didn't take to Roger Kitter here, I thought he was quite poor, and yet another Monsieur Leclerc, it's a pity they didn't write in some new characters.
Not bad, 6/10.
