Another force for the war effort, the arrival of Officer Crabtree, an English undercover Police Officer who can speak French, sort of, arrives in Nouvion. Meanwhile efforts are made to destroy a train on route to Hitler with the painting of the fallen Madonna, Gruber's tank is used.
This is a particularly funny half an hour of comedy, not just the arrival of Arthur Bostrom's Poloceman, but all of the humour surrounding Gruber's tank, and of course the scene between Herr Flick and Helga
Will he get away with it? As long as he doesn't speak. He was a wonderful addition to the show, a favourite for so many, I think people forget he wasn't in from the beginning.
This episode will always be remembered for that one line, which he only said once...
