A Miracle But, Yeech, Somebody Has Gas!
ccthemovieman-111 June 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Well, we get the first big last-second miracle get-out-of-an-impossible jam situation, this one at the Ontario Airport where the terrorists are foiled. I was sorry to see the main villain, "Anton Beresch" (David Dayan Fisher) killed. I thought he was kind of cool and would make a good guy to combat for most of the show....but he's history. How all of the above happens, I'll leave it up to you to watch, if you're still interested.

Meanwhile, in three huge developments, President Logan and Soviet leader Savarov sign their anti-terrorist alliance; we discover something really big is in the work - far bigger than the airport situation, and it looks like cannisters of poison or gas - and, finally the First Lady is chloroformed by Cummings and the President's Chief Of Staff takes information from her bra!

The most interesting new person now involved in the story is Lynn McGill, played by Sean Astin of "Lord Of The Rings." Yes, it's good ole "Sam" now with a suit-and-tie and looking very professional. He's there to oversee the operation, from the White House perspective. CTU boss Bill Buchanan isn't thrilled, but he's gracious and things work out. The only rude person is Chloe; who else?

Another Serious Episode
Hitchcoc30 January 2019
As the ding dong President gets his notice, his wife is trying desperately to get him to look at a transcript of a doctored document. It's too bad she didn't think to give it to Mike or someone like him. The airport terrorist continue to man their stations and threaten to kill all the hostages. Sean Astin's character is going to be a true pain (there's always one of them, full of self importance). Jack notices something at the end that is critical. Of course we are four episodes in. We know that there's a whole lot more of hell to pay.
