A regular Sir Lancelot
bkoganbing23 August 2019
Jay Novello hires Roger Smith to find his secretary who flew the coop with half a million dollars in negotiable bonds. Novello also has romantic intentions as well regarding the secretary Karen Steele.

In fact Steele seems to bring out the worst in the male species. She's got a brother whom she says did the stealing and a pesky neighbor in Rhodes Reason who doggedly follows Jeff Spencer to Acapulco where the trail ends. Reason is determined to be Sir Lancelot to the woman who lives in the next apartment.

Roger Smith is a bit more cynical than all that and Novello turns out to be not the meek accountant we think he is.

For those who want to be knights in shining armor, be wary.

Flight to Acapulco

Nothing fantastic here, but it delivers enough entertainment to please the show fans. Jeff is the only in charge for this case of a beautiful blonde who appears not to be so honest as she seems at first sight. But, for half a million of dollars, who would be? You have Kookie in a few scenes, such as this one where he plays a Jimmy Cagney mimic; very amusing. This is the typical example of the episode that I will forget in a day or two, unlike some others of the show, such as SILENT CAPER, or THE ATTIC for instance. And watch out for a guitar performance pulled by Roger Smith for the eyes of a beautiful senorita. You have understood that is definitely not a true, authentic atmosphere tale here.
