The "crime they didn't commit" which led to The A-Team being fugitives from military justice was robbery of ten million piasters, the equivalent of one million dollars, from the Bank of Hanoi.
J.A. Preston, who portrays the military judge in this episode, would later go on to portray the military judge in A Few Good Men.
This is the last episode to feature Lance LeGault as Colonel Roderick Decker.
Murdock speaks of the "Night Hawks" commandos. This is apparently a veiled reference to the "Night Stalkers" which is the nickname of the US Army's Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR). This unit was established in 1980. None of the motto's he says are actual ones of the regiment.
While Murdoch is testifying he holds three ball bearings in his hands. This is a reference to The Caine Mutiny where Humphrey Bogart rolled them in his hands to symbolize his mental instability.
