The patrol car driven by Reed and Malloy alternates between a 1968 and 1969 model Plymouth numerous times.
When Reed and Malloy arrive at the "Berkeley Riding Academy", a business sign in the background reads "Berkeley Western Stores". But when they walk though the building and emerge at the horse ring, the sign now reads "Pickwick Western Stores". It reads "Berkeley..." when they return to the Academy two more times investigating thefts.
The second time Reed and Malloy visit the riding academy, a clock in the background reads 3:15. In the next shot, they turn to enter another room, and pass another clock that says 3:45. The final time they visit, the clock reads 8:57; then they cut to a shot of the office. When they cut back to the officers, the clock reads 9:17.
The concrete that fills the man's car is seen hardened overflowing the car doors. The concrete is quite heavy, and would have run off of the doors, long before it dried.
Immediately after the concrete scene when they are back in the cruiser, two spectators are visible out the rear window waving their arms as the cruiser passes.
When Malloy kicks the two guns away, the scraping sounds on the pavement don't match the movements of the guns.
When Conroy is talking to the officers he says he sells jewelry wholesale.
Yet, he's claiming to sell the woman one piece of jewelry, retail.
