Just prior to Malloy's wreck the camera is slanted as if the car is rolling over.
However when the shot changes to the show the car driving, the car is level with all four tires on the ground.
This is repeated a few times.
During the beginning of the show, there are no seat belts visible. After the crash, both driver and passenger shoulder straps are now in plain sight.
Reed is seen driving a 1971 Plymouth Satellite police car while looking for Malloy in Griffith Park. A subsequent long shot shows that he is then driving a 1969 Plymouth Satellite.
As Malloy is chasing the robber, he uses his lights and siren. However, after the crash, the switches are in the off position.
The car used (seen driving 1971 Plymouth Satellite) when Malloy loses control and goes off the road and into the brush is a 1969 Plymouth Satellite.
The command post is set up at the Griffith Park Observatory.
The Observatory is at the end of the road and any participants would drive past the wreck to get there, yet no automobile traffic is heard by Malloy.
As Malloy begins the chase, he pulls out of the parking lot in front of a car just as another car turns onto the same road in the next lane over. Malloy's car is supposed to be accelerating after the bad guy, but the two cars behind him never get any further back even though he's driving at a high speed.
Malloy tells Boone he has internal bleeding and a ruptured spleen. He would have no way of knowing this specific medical information.
There is no Reese Drive in Griffith Park.
There is a Reese Place but it is in a residential area north of the park.
After Reed radios that he's found Malloy the dispatcher says the missing officer has been located.
However, this is prior to Reed seeing Malloy - at this point he's only see what he thinks may be the location of the wreck.
