When Dom and String drive onto the airbase at night in a van, it's obvious that Ernest Borgnine and Jan-Michael Vincent are not in the driver's and passengers seats. The driver (supposedly Dom) is much younger, has dark hair and a mustache. The passenger (String) is also much younger and has lighter hair.
One of the villains uses an RPG in order to attempt to shoot down the Airwolf. There is no rocket in the RPG.
In the scene where stringfellow hawke burys the coffin that supposed to contain the body of his brother, that grave would not fool anyone because in order to look legit that grave need to be six feet deep but the grave in the episode was two feet deep at the most which means that the grave is four feet too shallow.
