I hardly remind this TV series from the early seventies in France. I watch it now through a DVD set release. That's the third episode. Well, I admit this Scifi french TV show is rather interesting, especially from a french production. France never really specialized in such themes. This very episode tells us the investigation led by our leads - a couple of investigators, a man and a woman - about a strange disease that occurs in a small village, in the South of France. A disease which slow organic system of the human beings; their metabolism, all vital functions are slowed down...Terrific. But the directing and acting are unfortunately not at the same scale. It remains unusual on this scheme. But not riveting.

The opening sequence is weird. When a driver stops at a gas station to get fuel, his tank fulled up, and when the gas station boy let the gasoline overflow from the tank. The driver is furious about that and walks to the boy to protest, with his cigarette ready to be lit, with all the gasoline spreading on the ground...

And, guess what, the sequence stops right there. No explosions...

I guess the director missed a great opportunity here.
