Outstanding For Two Classic Priceless Jokes

Warning: Spoilers
The Clampetts are considering buying a yacht.

Jethro gets Jed a skipper outfit from the studio, which inadvertently is an admiral's uniform.

The Clampetts then go to the wrong dock and end up looking at navy ships.

The crew sees Jed in the admiral uniform and panic.

So this was the setup.

From there we get Jethro and Jed considering fishing with the guns of the ship firing, Granny contemplating 'cooking for all these men' and Elly May flirting with the sailors.

Two jokes stand out.

The actual captain of the vessel had gone ashore, leaving another fellow (no navy lingo here) in charge, who now must contend with the presence of this faux admiral.

Upon boarding the ship, Jed asks the fellow, "is Mr. Drysdale here?" "Is he supposed to be here, sir?" "Yep." "Then he's here, sir!" Too amusing.

At the end, Jed considers not buying the ship, and informs the young man "I'm gonna have to pass you." "He passed us! He passed us!" the young sailor screams, boarding the ship, thinking they just passed a major inspection.

Again a brilliant episode not for the Clampetts' mistakes, but for others, whom we normally don't see when the Clampetts do their usual bungling, such as at banks and among hippies.

Didn't realize it was in color either. Might it be the first Hillbillies episode in color?
