As was common for holiday episodes in that era, the show ends with the cast turning to the camera and singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
This was partially a remake of the "Gloria Swanson Story" episodes three weeks earlier, in which the Clampetts mistakenly believe that items being donated to charity mean that the person (in this case Mrs. Drysdale) is in desperate need of money.
This takes place in December 1966.
