A movie is being made of a Civil War battle. The Clampetts don't know this, and Granny sees this as an opportunity to give the Yankees what's coming to them. The actor playing Ulysses Grant has trouble staying sober and can barely ride his horse, and when he's "wounded" in battle, Granny takes pity on him and takes him home to doctor him. This means liberal doses of her rheumatism medicine, and Grant and Granny discover they have something in common after all.
