Sadie Thompson in the old west

Warning: Spoilers
Spoiler alert. This story is basically a reworking of W. Somerset' Maugham's famous story "Rain" (also known as "Miss Thompson") moved to the old west with bad guys and good guys thrown in. It's the age old story of a self righteous married man trying to reform a "fallen woman" all the while unaware that his unconscious love and lust for her will bring his downfall. In this story, the reformer is a judge instead of a missionary although he still sounds religious asking her to confess so she can be redeemed. It's an interesting version of this story and done very well.. I think the beautiful Patricia Blair does a wonderful job as a Sadie Thompson type of character and Cathy O'Donnell as the beleaguered wife is great as always

Kind of strange

This was a really weird episode that seemed to have trouble getting off the ground. Patricia Blair to me over acted in some scenes. At times the dialogue was really weird and had you asking yourself " why did he or she say that". Anyway it was not one of my favorites of thisi great series but oh well.
