A teenager is demolished with hammers at a construction site. The lies run rampant but eventually rest on the prefrontal cortex of some awful kids. We have a girl who has cried rape and her motivations are so petty. There is also the death of a young woman, standing in her front yard, watching her first husband and second husband fight. But there is no gun. For all of you who hated Calculus, here you get to see how it can be applied to a real-life situation.

The Hammer and the Stray Bullet
claudio_carvalho31 December 2022
When the fifteen-year-old Brian Haddick is found beaten to death with a hammer in a construction site, Grissom, Sara, Warrick and Capt. Brass investigate the case. They request the hammers of the workers and they find blood in the hammer of Gregory Curtwell, but he says that he was travelling. They learn that his sister Ashley is involved in the case and claims that Brian was raping her. Meanwhile, Catherine, Nick and Det. Sam Vega investigate the murder of Marlene Mitchell, who was shot while separating a fight between her husband Stewart Mitchell and her ex, Todd, in front of her new house. They need to use their knowledge of trigonometry and physics to resolve the case.
"Coming of Rage" is another great episode of "CSI". The lead segment has a scary conclusion, showing how justice treats criminals in the coming of age as if they were children. The cynicism of Ashley Curtwell is impressive, but is reality in many countries including Brazil. The other segment is also good to see the use of trigonometry and physics to resolve the case. Stray bullets are very common in Third World countries. My vote is eight.

Average for CSI, better than most TV crime fare though

Warning: Spoilers
By CSI Vegas standards this episode is a little bit run of the mill. But if you've never watched CSI before, this will do the job! I've seen all the first 8 seasons a few times now :S
One seriously horrible crime. One silly accident. Nick gets a rather funny final line, but then you're left to contemplate the horror of what happened to the teenage boy. As you occasionally do with CSI, I wondered how far this was based on a real case, and I really hope not very far...
A very mild spoiler is that there is one of their chilling teenage girls that CSI sometimes throws at us.
